It's amazing! I never thought that so many people would be found by a simple computer program! It's like a weird psychic thing! Connecting with old school friends will be nice, I'm glad I finally signed up for it, despite lingering concerns that I'll get sucked into its world.
Did you know there are like eight HellRaiser movies? I saw the first two, and thought there were three. EIGHT?! How many of those were straight to video, I wonder? I imagine that the vast majority of them are terrible, but I'm kind of getting curious as to just how bad they are.
One more day until Obama is the new president. I can't wait, personally, though I know certain elements of this very blog may not share my enthusiasm. Of course, everyone thinks it would be cool if he were elected on MLK day, the stupid constitution has to get in the way...

Oh yeah obama is just going to descend from the heavens, and fix everything......, nothing will change, until we completely revamp the system. Ron Paul 2012
I just don't understand this cynicism that seems to underlie every bitter Republican's ideas about Obama. Yeah, things aren't going to be magically better, but surely you can agree that a better leader will result in at least SOME changes. Isn't that something we can all look forward to? Besides, it hasn't been THAT long since things were OK in this neck of the world, no matter how lame the past few terms have been. It's as though you're ridiculing someone who just got a high-paying job, saying "Oh, well you're going to have to WORK for that money, you know. And that 250,000 a year doesn't happen all at once, you just get a little bit at a time. That sucks, huh?" Just patronizing and bitter and lame. Surely we're allowed a little celebration before getting to work.
That said, I do agree we need to tear some shit down. Ron Paul not so much.
I honestly don't think that any one man can do anything to fix whats going on. republican or democrat. I think in a few weeks a lot of people are going to be very disappointed. I don't care that the democrats (read socialists) won the election. But as a person who is going to have to live with it, nothing against Obama, I think the over hype is going to end in disappointment. I never would have been like "oh yeah mccain inauguration is tomm everything is going to be better from here on out." Which is the feeling I've been getting from everyone talking about the inauguration.
See, that's the thing! I don't think that anyone except insane crazy people are thinking that he's just going to make everything better instantaneously. Everyone's just psyched that there's a CHANCE things will get better, and they want to celebrate.
if thats your opinion then ive got no arugment. if you or i were elected there would be a chance things would get better. i just dont share your inthusiamism. and from what ive seen where i am ppl are sure that thing will change instantally. enjoy your new president day.
