UrlBarExt

It's a firefox extension that allows you, with a single click, to TinyURL your current position, search within a website, and go UP a directory level in a website! I especially like the TinyURL feature, as it automatically copies it to your clipboard, ready for pasting, in a single click. One problem is that I don't think there are any keyboard shortcuts involved, which is sort of a bummer. Nonetheless, a very, very convenient add-on.

I had to downgrade to firefox2 on my mac yesterday, some crazy crashing, the likes of which I've never witnessed on a mac before. Couldn't have that.

Im using this bookmarklet called spreeder http://www.spreeder.com/ its really tight, herring you might like it. It allows you to read text crazy fast, I can read at like 500wpm apparently. Sam I got plugin called morning coffee, you one click to open all the bookmarks you check daily and you can set the bookmarks to only open on specific days.

Oh, nice! Spreader sounds fun indeed. With regards to the morning coffee thing, if you have any kind of RSS it's really much more convenient, as it lists all the items you haven't read yet.

Man, I just cannot say enough good things about Spreeder. I've already improved my speed a little, and it makes long articles so much easier to get through. In just the last day I've started actually reading through every article on my Google News feed, not just skimming the titles for interesting things.

Im glad your finding it useful. I really like it as well, I only wish my textbooks and novels could be imported.

Yeah, that would be awesome! Just imagine how easy it would have been studying for history or some other reading-intensive class with that. Not to mention eliminating the need for a large slab of dead tree...
