Sam, I don't know what happened to your post, but in response, yes it is possible. The best way, of course, is hardware, and for that you have t have a monitor with multiple inputs that supports it. However, if you have a TV tuner you can plug an Xbox or whatever into that, and it'll just show up as a window on your desktop, which is essentially the same thing. I've found that unless you have a really nice tuner, though, it'll show up kind of lame and fuzzy.

I deleted the post after I realized how lazy I sounded lol.
My monitor actually has two inputs, and has a button that you press to switch between the inputs, it's just that i'd rather use my keyboard to switch the inputs and also be able to use it with the xbox.. now I know you're going to recommend a kvm, which I've tried in the past with the following results: My computer is DVI and my 360 is VGA, so first problem is a kvm that supports both VGA and DVI ins. The next problem is my keyboard is apparently from the stone ages and is ps/2; the kvm is also ps/2 but the 360 only accepts USB, and after a painstaking hunt for an adapter, I found out that you need more than an adapter to change the shape, there needs to be some translating done between the ps/2 and the usb. another option would be to get a usb kvm, but that still doesn't solve my dvi/vga problem. my current setup is fine, but it involves me using another keyboard which actually gets kinda confusing.
