I am officially in love. I found the machine that will complete me one day. It's thin. It's light. It's Lenovo tough. The keyboard is usable. It has an optical drive that can be converted to a battery. Holy fuck. Want.

I don't even keep the screw in mine, but it works a little differently, probably because it's not as thin. Mine has a little latch that pops out when you flip a switch, and that allows you to pull the drive out.
Trying it out in the fry's was an enlightening experience, wasn't it? I loved that keyboard!
Lol! Yeah, totally dark-side. I wouldn't have even came close to looking at another brand if Apple hadn't started putting OSX on Intel machines... And I didn't realize at the store how much of an impact it was going to make on me, so I didn't really get a good look at it, but I can tell you for sure, I can't stop thinking about it.
I've never been against Ubuntu.. I just don't feel comfortable moving over to Linux quite yet, and I'm not too sure about Visualization just yet.. maybe after I look into it some more.
It's pretty nice, you know. You should come and see my setup when it's completely working, I've got all the bells and whistles, not to mention eye candy, installed, so it's a good reference, in my estimation.
